Lynsey+Peyton | Long Creek, South Carolina Wedding

Not sure how many times I checked the weather during the week leading up to this day. Despite high percentage projections of rain, thankfully the Hoppes' had very minimal rain to deal with on their special day. For wedding photography most photos are taken during the middle of the afternoon, so the light tends to be super harsh given a sunny day, making photos challenging. Given that Chattooga Belle Farm is a very open area and shade from trees is minimal, I could not have been more thankful to get overcast light without rain the majority of the day.

I've already written a good bit about this couple in the past on their proposal blog that I shot etc. When I was asked to shoot the wedding knowing that it would be at Chattooga, I could not have been more excited to shoot this venue. I feel like my best work comes out when I get to utilize landscapes and people. It's what inspires my content the most. It's God's beautiful creation, and I love capturing people in it creatively! I have felt that I have had so many photo ideas bottled up for the longest time, so I was thrilled to finally explore some of those for their bride/groom portraits, as most of my previous wedding settings have not allowed for it.

So thank you to these friends for asking me to shoot their wedding! So much fun capturing these images. Peyton and Lynsey could not have been any better in front of the camera to work with. So if this blog is too long, blame them ha. I really couldn't narrow it down to only a couple bride/groom portraits, they just gave me way too many options to choose from! So props if you make it all the way to the bottom. In closing I wanted to wish all the best to Lynsey and Peyton. Excited to see all that God has in store for you both in the next chapter of your lives together!

A very special thanks to Ashley Stout for second shooting, and to Andy and Riley as well, who shot video. You all were so fun and great to work with!
